The Throttle Disconnect Kit is intended for customers who need to deactivate their throttle because they ride their ebike in an area where throttles are not legal.

Disconnecting your throttle will reduce your ability to accelerate rapidly, and if you do not adapt your riding style to this change, you could increase your risk of an accident, serious injury, or death. If you disconnect your throttle, be sure to practice stopping, starting, and accelerating your ebike in a safe area away from other vehicles before you try riding your bike in busier areas or roads.

- Get the bike ready for maintenance. Turn off the bike, remove the battery, and press and hold the MODE or power button to discharge remaining power.
