Extend Protection Plan overview
Extended warranty coverage and accident protection for your ebike is offered through the optional Extend Protection Plan. With this plan your original warranty is extended for a period of 1, 3 or 4 years in case of a mechanical or electrical failure, plus your ebike is covered in case of accidental damage caused by drops, breaks, or spills from day one.
Extend offers 24/7 online support, and if your ebike stops working or fails, Extend will repair or replace it with no deductibles or hidden fees.
How to purchase an Extend Protection Plan:
Add a protection plan in your cart when ordering your Rad Power Bike online, or email support@radpowerbikes.com to add coverage to an existing Rad Power Bike for up to 30 days after purchase. The Extend Protection Plan is transferable if you sell your Rad Power Bike.
The Extend Protection Plan is only available in the United States at this time.
What is not covered:
- Damage from collisions with cars or motorcycles.
- Damage caused by animals.
- Misuse, abuse, loss, and theft.
- Consumable parts (brake pads, hydraulic fluids, etc.)
- Damage to accessories purchased separately from ebike.
- Damage caused by natural disasters.

Extend Protection Plan coverage period:
The Extend Protection Plan offers coverage plans for 1, 3 or 4 years beyond the original warranty period. Extend warranty coverage begins when your original warranty coverage ends.
The accidental damage coverage offered with the Extend Protection Plan is effective on day one of your ebike purchase, regardless of the original warranty period length.
How to file a claim:
Simply contact Extend online or by phone at (877) 248-7707. They’ll process your claim in minutes and once approved, send you details on your repair or replacement.
When filing a claim with Extend, you will need to provide either your contract ID, email address, or another identifying piece of information.
